The sightmark is not bad, even if the dot is not a well defined circle. It's main flaw is the very Short Life of the batterie. I use this sight for wild boar driver hunt, and in two days the battery is gone.

Ended up getting this on sale from Beretta, but was worth the money. The sight is easy to zero and holds it very well. The red dot is a tad blurry at the brighter settings, but for the most part it's solid so it's not a big deal. My gripe is the mount. It's not a good mount. Comes loose and wiggles after firing a bit. Tightening it back up corrects the problem, but it gets annoying having to constantly check it. Some blue loctite might go a long way, but at this price shouldn't be necessary.
Pros:
- holds a zero
- Easy to zero.
- tough sight
Cons:
- Mount is garbage for this price

The Burris red dot scope is good value for the budget conscious shooter but the scope mounting rings were of poor quality.Good red dot adjustment and optic clear and dot easily picked up for fast shooting. So far am happy with my purchase.

With the Burris name I expected good quality at a reasonable price. That's what this is. There are better red dots out there I have a couple but this one is just fine for what I purchased it for. Initially I put it on my .22 pistol. It was heavier than some reflex sights but not too heavy. The dot was nice and crisp and it was easy to get zeroed. I had it on the .22 for a few weeks and then I finished the project that I purchased it for, my AR 15 pistol. I put it on the pistol and am quite happy with it there.
Again, this is a good quality red dot but you have to realize the limitations. When compared with an Aimpoint for example one can see that the amount of light transmitted through the tube isn't as good with the Burris. When you look at the battery life, the Burris can't compare with the Aimpoint's 2+ years. Mind you, for less than half the price what can one expect?
This is a good basic red dot.
Pros:
- Price point
- Small dot
- Weight

I read all the Burris hype, and believed this thing would handle recoil. 20 rounds on my S&W 460 and it lost point of impact. Disassembled mount and checked all screws and re-sighted. 10 rnds later it lost point of impact again. Don't waste your money. Buy an EOtech for high recoil guns.
Pros: Easy set up
Cons: will not handle recoil

Burris 1x35 300200 is a 3mm not a 5mm dot, I knew this from the Burris site. Great value for the money. 3mm dot is great for fine accurate shooting
Pros: 3 moa red dot is easy to be accurate on m&p 15 22 also 35mmis great for quick target aquisition

This is the best Dot Scope I have found, I tried several others, and they would not hold up. I was about to give up on Dot Scopes till I found this one. I am going to order the same scope except in a 3 MOA dot size for smaller game.
Pros: Easy to sight in, and makes getting on target fast.
Cons: Haven't found any

Excellent product with typical burris quality, this is a very good option and a strong contender in the red dot sight category. It is not an aimpoint microdot and placing the two side by side the aimpoint definately has advantages, but for 2/3 to 1/2 the price the value of the Burris SpeedDot is excellent.
Pros: Price, build quality, features
Cons: not "the best" available

I mounted on an M1A rifle it works well and repeated. The only thing I didn't like was the rings which were offset to one side slightly.
Pros: easy to see
Cons: offset to one side
