Burris Euro Diamond 1-4x24mm 30mm tube

This scope is unusual in that it can be used when there is an unusually long spacing between scope rings -- such as on long action dangerous game rifles. The scopes of competitors that have a similar low power variable power range often can't be used with long actions (like the Ruger 77 mkII .458 Lott) without using extender rings -- which may affect loading and ejection.
The scope is also unusual in that the lowest power is 1x -- well suited for close range shooting. I haven't yet shot the rifle with this scope so I have had to guess its usability.
Pros: Well suited to use with long action dangerous game rifles
Cons: None that I'm aware of

Burris ED 1-4x24

Very good riflescope with really extra wide field of view - more than 100 feet/100 yards ! Not many scopes can achieve that. Excellent choice for driven hunt, dangerous game... Posi-lock system helps to support the reticle agains recoil of heavy caliber rifles. Very clean, contrast image. The scope's finish is not perfect. Focus ring works bit too hard in my model. Reticle #4 could be better. Overall, very good scope for the money.
Pros: Extra wide field of view, Posi Lock, very good lenses, durable, very good value
Cons: Finishing is not perfect, focus ring works bit too hard
