Solid and light - Burris Scout 2.75x20mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane (SFP) Rifle Scope

If one is attempting to build there own version of Col. Cooper's Scout Rifle concept, then this is a solid optic to consider. Being of fixed power allows it to be very light weight and uncomplicated. Being a Burris means it is nearly bullet proof and has the lifetime replacement warranty if you do happen to break it.

From a user perspective, it points well and the heavy reticle is super easy to pick up in most weather conditions (harder in low light. There are no BDC dots or any of that fancy stuff. This is a scope that, when mastered, none of that silliness will be missed. It fits in with the adage 'be wary of the man with only one gun, for he likely knows how to use it'.
