Burris Fullfield IV 6-24x50 mm 30 mm Tube Second Focal Plane (SFP) Rifle Scope
I typically use Burris scopes and have for many years. I've dropped my rifles on the scope striking rocks and other hard objects to discover that the zero was still true. I like the optics as they are clearer than glass. Please note that I tear up every time I drop a gun. I've read other articles ...

1) Objective not threaded for sunshade
2) click values are not accurate - dialed changes are much larger than expected (~20%)
3) Does not focus to 10m (fuzzy)
There are alternatives to this scope that you should consider.

The glass is very nice. I like the fine cross hairs. 2 things I'd like would be parallax yardage marked on adjustable dial . Also I don't understand why you don't get lens covers or scope cover. Had to buy separate.
Pros:
Quality glass, for the price
Cons:
No scope covers or lens covers
Best Used for:
Target shooting and predators
Target shooting or predators

I have another one like this. Great for the money. This one goes to my grandson 22 creedmoor. Only 1 thing bugs me is why Burris can't afford scope covers.Very annoying having to buy as an extra.I between China can make a pull over cover for the price. Don't get me wrong good scope, someone at Burris should ask them.
Pros:
good glass
Cons:
No pull over scope coveror lens covers
Best Used for:
Target shooting, predator hunting
Would recommend: Yes

I have tried out several different scopes on my CZ 457. I settled on the Burris for several reasons. #1 - I tried a Vortex diamondback but the eye box was so finicky I ended up returning the scope. The Burris has a more user friendly eye box. #2 - The 6-24 power is more than enough for 50-100 yard target shooting. Even at max power viewing the target through the scope is easy to acquire and quite clear. Turrets work smooth as well as the side adjustment for parallax adjustment. #3 - The Vortex and others had reticles that were more for long rang hunting rather than target shooting. I don’t need MOA lines for holdovers, I use the turrets. #4 - Over all a decent scope for the price which is higher that the Vortex, but worth it for me. Final thoughts: I am under the impression that scopes react differently for each person depending on their eye sight. I wear glasses for distance plus readers. I think most of my problems with the Vortex was the scope was not playing nicely with my glasses, problems I didn’t have with the Burris. I also really like the fine plex reticle, centering the cross hairs on target is much easier for me to see now.
