What a beast! This is one stout scope. Big and beefy with crystal clear optics and huge turrets for those with sausage fingers or when wearing gloves. Outstanding value with a fool-proof warranty. Great customer service from OpticsPlanet!

XTRII 3x15
You get a lot of scope for your money with this deal. The gen II mil dot is a great reticle and simple. Don't get caught up with others and their multiple hashes and numbers, they're just a distraction and obscure your sight picture. The adjustments have tracked correctly thus far; BZO was achieved in three shots thanks to easy measurement with the reticle and mil adjustments; adjusting for range was spot on for my rifle and load via an external ballistics calculator from Hornady bringing me to my one critical observation and that is there are currently no BDC knobs either from Burris directly or from a second source like Kenton Ind. that will hopefully change in the future.
If you've never worked with a 34mm tube scope you do need to understand you'll be adding size and weight to your rifle. Depending on your scope base you can usually get lower rings than what they recommend too.
