Products are good by themselves, but the red dot sight is unusable with this particular scope, as the elevation adjustment knob is too high and completely blocks the red dot sight no matter if put in front, or behind the knob.

I was seriously considering a Nightforce scope but was not crazy about shelling out $2500 for an optic for the amount of shooting that I do. It is every bit as bright as the Nightforce and, honestly comparing them side by side other than the reticle they were both very close. The Burris mount is rock solid and when I mounted the scope and took it to the range to sight it in, it was only off by about 5 clicks at 100 yards on my SR25 .308. The thing that truly astounds me about the whole purchase is, I bought the package (Scope, mount and FastFire III reflex sight) After mounting the scope, I tried to mount the FastFire on the picitiny on the scope mount and you could not see the reflex because of the turrets. Someone wasn't thinking when they put this package together. A bright red dot right in the middle of the turret. (Don't worry Optics Planet, I honestly think that the phone rep was just confused, they gave me otherwise excellent phone support!). Well, the reflex is now mounted on my Rem-870 and works great. The XTR has been fantastic out to 1200 yards so far and has quite a bit more travel on th...
