I purchased the scope rings along with a Bushnell 3–12×42 scope. I got the size medium rings and the height was perfect, just 1/8 inch off the barrel at its closest point. I set it up with the compensation rings adjusted to allow 20 MOA more elevation, as the Bushnell scope only had 25M MOA to start with. When all is said and done, I had 47MOA of elevation range. Enough to go 1000 yards if I want to with my 308. Very pleased with the quality of the rings and the instructions. The plastic liner rings also grip the scope firmly without causing any torque on the body of the scope. If I ever sell this scope, it will look brand new. No scope ring scarring.

I had the Burris Dovetail mounts on this rifle and upgraded my scope, which had a 30 mm tube instead of the 1 inch so I had to swap them out. The new rings fit perfectly on my mounts and locked the scope in place. I am a big fan of the Burris mounting system as it is highly dependable and the performance of my rifle is extremely good.
Pros:
- easy to assemble
- dependable and accurate
- Good looking add on to any rifle

These rings are simple to install, will not scuff the scope and hold the scope in place. It also comes with offset inserts in the case you need to have more elevation. When all is said and done these are a great set of rings, also this is not my first set to instale

Difficult to set up but once done they work great. Give you a lot of options when the scope runs out of adjustment, which was my problem, from a normal set up. Would buy again if the situation presented itself.
Pros:
- works great for certian situations

Anyone with a premium scope shouldn't even think of NOT getting these - to save the tube from marring if nothing else. Workmanship is decent (not great. Sides are not quite uniform in shape). On the 30mm, the package says MEDIUM, yet they are low (as in VERY LOW) - the base, no thicker than the ring *thickness* dimension itself, so Burris has made a mistake here, and many bloggers on websites from Opticstalk to F&S have noted this). But, there is a lot to like and I'll stick with em:-)
Cons:
- incorrect labelling on the 30mm

Burris has the right idea when trying to get the most out off your scope, cam-able inserts sure help out on several issues. alignment, horizontal, vertical or just trying to get more elevation.--------just can't go wrong!

Title says it all. And with the inserts it's easy to get the 10-20 MOA you need for long distance shots.
