Burris has done a fine job .....I like the fine plex reticle....the optics are great....the FFP is the only way for high magnifications....solid construction and great fit and finish....this line of Burris scopes has features of the other big names at 1/3 the price....I will be buying another Burris veracity scope soon.....tried a lot of others but Burris is for me....
Pros:
- Simplicity,good light,depedable
Best Used for:
- Target and hunting
- Target & Hunting
- Target and hunting - LONG shots!

I purchased this scope from my local gun shop, but that’s besides the point. When I first saw it in person, I was impressed by the robust feel. I liked the capped turrets and the turret adjustment felt very positive with nice audible clicks. I had it mounted to a new ruger American predator on a 20moa rail with leupold rings. After I learned about jumping the turret stop, zeroing it became easy. The clarity is great, very bright and very vivid. The MOA reticle is very user friendly and FFP is a must. It tracks like a laser guided system. A minute is a minute, every time precisely. This scope helped me set a 17/32nds average group size on my first 50 rounds, with 3 to 8 shot groups. I can not only clearly see the bull in the Red Bull can tab from 100yds, I can hit the bull from 100 yards! This scope is great for the hybrid shooter!!! Worth every penny. If your on the fence, get off it. Just buy it, you won’t regret it. Just don’t cheap out on the rings and rail!!!
Pros:
- clear 25x magnification
- Precise Turret Adjustments
- Tough and dependable
- Heavy and well built
- free caps and sun shade
Cons:
- None yet but will let you know if there end up being any
Best Used for:
- hunting
- long range applications
- harsh enviroments

Pricey, but a very good quality scope that I mounted on my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger Precision Rifle. I was looking for a decent scope for long range precision shooting and after many reviews, several suggested this scope. I haven't shoot out more than 100 yards yet, but for these old eyes the scope has made it very easy to zero in and get some good groupings. I am looking forward to seeing how it performs at greater distances.

My scope is the 5-25 scr moa mod. #200652. This scope is difficult if not impossible to beat for the price! FFP, excellent moa reticle and very clear glass at all magnifications. So why not a better rating? The short answer the MAD dials. They work great! Very tactile and audible with a good feel so what's the problem? They limit the Burris claimed 60 moa elevation to less than 25 (mine is 23.75) that alone amounts to nearly one foot loss of elevation at 1000 yds. I believe Burris simply dropped the ball, by designing this scope for hunters and ignoring tactical shooters, but it has a scr moa reticle which would made one think we were considered but limiting the usable moa shame! That said, I do love this scope just know as a buyer how much moa adjustment you will need for your application and then determine if it will work for you. This is a good scope, it could have been the best scope available in its price range. Plus you get two options/sets of turrets with this model, one capped and one uncapped(tactical?) Burris, give us at least 45 moa adjustment in a 60 moa scope and you will have the best scope available in its price class!
Best Used for:
- Hunting and tactical under 1000 yds.

This scope is really nice.
Pros:
+Clarity under high and low light situations.
+Fit and finish is immaculate, no play with the turrets before then rotate
+Lifetime, no questions asked transferable warranty
+For its price it is the best scope in the sub 1000$ most likely*
+The reticle is amazingly sharp, and easy to make on the fly adjustments with.
Cons:
-Eye relief at 25x zoom is a bit hard to find but expected.
*I have not tried either the 4-24 or the 5-25 power sub 1000$ vortex scopes.

Superb scope, great clarity. Zoom from 5-25 power is smooth, friction for zoom is positive works great. Front focal plane works perfect for my purpose. Side focus/parallax is easy to adjust, again friction on knob is firm and positive enough to prevent over adjusting.
Pros:
- Quality (get what you pay for)
- quality and clarity
Best Used for:
- Long distance hunting and target shooting
- Long Range Accuracy
