Solid scope rings for rimfire 3/8" dovetail - Burris Airgun / Rimfire Signature 1 inch Rifle Scope Mount Rings for .22 grooved receivers

Purchased the rings to mount a BSA Sweet 17 scope on a Ruger American Rimfire .17 HMR Rifle (Model 8312).

The rings installed easily on the Ruger and were just high enough for the BSA's 40mm objective to clear everything.

Placed the scope in the lower rings w/ the plastic adapter and loosely attached the upper part of the rings so I could position and level the scope. This process went very smoothly. The toughest part was keeping the rifle level while I rotated the scope to get the crosshairs perfectly vertical & horizontal. I alternated tightening the rings' screws and checking the crosshairs. Once it was snugged down fully to torque spec I gave a final check to the crosshairs; still looked good.

As this was my first scope-mounting exercise, I found the whole process to be fairly easy. I feel certain that someone who's done this before could probably do it much quicker.

Footnote: I found these Medium Rings were a bit too low for mounting a BSA Sweet 17 Scope on a Henry H001TV .17 HMR rifle. These same rings in High raised the scope much more than I needed, so I ended up using B-Square Adapters w/ Burris Signature Zee 1" Weaver-Mount Medium Rings.
