Most Helpful Positive Review Large objective lens scopes
I bought the high rings for a use with a 42mm objective scope on a CZ 452 American, sporter barrel. Two sets of side clamps are supplied with no documentation as to why. I did find that one set fits the 3/8 and the other will work with 11mm rails. Pros: Easy to setup Cons: No detailed instructions for extra set of clamps

Good rings for the money spent

by Doc T, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on August 6, 2023
I bought and installed these along with a new scope on my wife's .22 rifle. I liked them so much I bought a second set to upgrade the scope on my .22 rifle. Would have given 5 stars, but I'm not wild about the look of the plastic inserts.
Pros:
  • value
Cons:
  • looks
Best Used for:
  • .22 cal guns

Burris .22 Rings

by BRUCE QUIMBY, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on June 24, 2023
The rings were delivered in a bag. The bag looked a bit beat up when it got here. The packaging that containED the rings was broken apart and the various pieces were loose in the bag. Hopefully I won't need any of the loose parts that were in the bag because there was a small hole in the bag. I'll let you know when I set up my scope. Maybe a small box instead of the bag?

Great set of .22 Rimfire/Airgun rings -

by Bob, from PA, United States Written on June 21, 2023
These rings were a bit pricey but I wanted to avoid sighting-in problems and opted for the Signature rings as they have the inner ring which helps to compensate for receiver Dovetails which may not line up perfectly. Only needed a few shots at 50 yards to get these right on target. Well worth the extra few bucks. These rings have additional inserts of varying angulation available separately if greater compensation is needed but mine were fine with the included 0 degree inserts.
Pros:
  • Quality, easy to install and sight in
Cons:
  • Just a bit pricey for Rimfire rings
Best Used for:
  • .22 Rimfire dovetails

scope rings

by Lee, from WA, United States Written on February 24, 2022
These rings worked great on my Marlin 22wmr rifle. The 3/8" rail is hard to mount rings on as the mounting jaws need to be very sharp to grab the rail. These worked perfectly. Great product at a good price and quick shipping.

would not hold aiming pont

by billck, from AZ, United States Written on November 9, 2018
I followed the instructions and used these rings to mount a leupold on henry .22 magnum, a minimal recoil situation. I used a rest to follow the impact point with the crosshairs, which did work for about three rounds and then they would start to wander. I performed this operation two more times before I gave up, but the caveat is that I only purchased these to get a little more height so I could access the hammer with my thumb more easily, and that with the 8.00 dollar set that I bought on Amazon, this set-up was an absolute tack driver. I think that I bought them here, but it has been too long to return them anyway, but if I could get my money back I surely would. I purchased a taller set of Leapers that are very solid and have no issues for 1/5 the price of these, so that is my recommendation, and I will just put these on the "shelf of folly" along with all the bright and shiny fishing lures, harbor freight tools, Chinese audio equipment, and exotic dancer girlfriends that cost ALOT, but are completely useless.
Pros:
  • They fit the receiver well
Cons:
  • they would not hold zero
Best Used for:
  • Christmas gift for your enemies

Longrange military

by Joe, from WY, United States Written on September 26, 2018
Rings work great. Allow scope offset to adjust for extended range. I installed on a Swiss K-31 rifle with a clamp on mount and a vintage Weaver K4 scope. Use this combo to compete in vintage military matches at ranges from 100 to 1000 yards. The ring give enough elevation adjustment to adjust foe zero at 100 yards and adjust up to 1000 yards. The rings have stayed tight and secure and have worked great. Ordered with extra insert kit to enable 20 minute offset.

A Good Product, But There Are Some Issues

by CPTCWK, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on March 23, 2018
I purchased a set of Burris Signature Mount Rings (and a set of the related offset inserts) in order to mount a scope on a multi-pump air rifle. The grooves on the receiver of my rifle are misaligned slightly with the barrel and I found that the POI was more than 4 inches off (both elevation and windage) from the POA at 15 yards when I used a non-adjustable single piece mount. This variance was far more than I wanted to address by adjusting my scope, so I decided to replace the single piece mount with the Burris Signature Rings and insert kit.

I was able to achieve my goal with the Burris Signature Rings and inserts and brought the POI to within less than an inch of the POA by careful selection and positioning of the inserts. I was then able to accomplish a final zero with minimal scope adjustment. This is exactly what the Signature Rings are intended to do.

These rings are a good product, but they are not without issues. First, the instructions are really bare bones in nature and need to be much more comprehensive. If nothing else, the mathematical equations necessary to determine appropriate insert selection should be provided. Also, it is inexcusable not to provide torquing specifications; I contacted Burris Customer Service and was advised to torque both the base screws and the ring screws to 20 inch-pounds. If you purchase a set of these rings, I strongly suggest that you check out the reviews on Youtube before attempting to install them because you will find...

Great Mount rings!

by B, from WI, United States Written on February 2, 2018
Great rings for my Weaver scope that's mounted to a CZ 455 SS in .22 cal! Easy to install (directions were simple) and they protect the scopes finish. Overall, they seem solid and should hold very well.

Good mounts - but packaging can be confusing

by Larry Lynch, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on December 19, 2017
I put these mounts on a Remington Speedmaster .22 w/grooved mounts built-in to the weapon along the top of the action. The scope is a 2-7x28 Leupold Rimfire 1 inch. The cut grooves in the gun are thin and I needed a set of rings with relatively sharp bases for grabbing the grooves. These rings are adjustable to a variety of widths but the width set in the package was good for my use. The plastic inserts allowed for the scope to be mounted without lapping. I don't believe this system will mark the scope like the typical metal to metal system. The mount feels firm and the dozen rounds I've fired do not appear to have moved the rings. This looks like a good choice for a rimfire scope.
Pros:
  • Tight fit on a cut-grooze mount. Good quality.
Cons:
  • More expensive than some rings
Best Used for:
  • Rimfire scopes on rimfire rifles.
