A very nice sight if you are into close range shooting, but if you are into shooting at a range the AR-15 is designed for, you will need the Tripler, as the reticle is a bit busy for anything over 200 meters.
Pros:
  • Battery type/cost of replacement
  • No battery needed for reticle
  • Very fast target aquisition
Cons:
  • a bit heavy
  • Locking screw loosens after every shot (55gr)
  • Magnifier needed pass 200m
  • Rectile can obstruct objects at a distance
  • Light (red/green) reflects back at shooter
Best Used for:
  • CQB
  • Patrol
  • security
