Great for people with an astigmatism!
Purchase from Dvor.com a sister company of Optics Planet.
I have various reflex red dots from cheap to fairly expensive, and always wondered why I saw a star burst instead of an actual dot. Come to find out I have an astigmatism (basically, your eye focuses at two points, instead of one).

Nice reticle but lousy mount and poor quality control
I liked the reticle as it was clear and bright. Plus not having to worry about batteries going dead (you can always use the etched reticle instead of the red or green), is a great feature. Unfortunately the mount is horrible and you can't use any of other of the quality mount manufacturers mounts ...

Almost the best optic ever, but failed.
Durable AF, Lifetime warranty, easy to see through glass, everything is amazing. So I bought 2 of them. But…. The reticle is so stupid there little dots and numbers cluttered everywhere it just becomes a big blob. I can’t aim at all so I never even tried to use it more than once. All Burris had to do was put 1 dot in the middle of the circle and it would be amazing. It could have been the best optic I ever had but instead I can’t aim at all. I never tried using it more than once and there no way I would ever try again. So I got 2 of them sitting in a safe forever.
Some optics suck, but this one broke my heart because it would be the best 1x prism optic on the market if they just put 1 simple dot. Why the heck did they splatter dots numbers and lines all over the tiny reticle?
If you have an astigmatism; this reticle will be worse than a red dot starburst.
I’ll see if Burris would give me some store credit to switch to a different optic/reticle. I would have 100% respect for the company if they allowed me to use one of there other optic reticle systems.

Great Prism - It's a Burris...
They are giving this away at this point, it is a great little optic. OK so it is almost impossible to read the numbers on the reticle, especially for older people like me, but the lines are crisp and so is the dot, and I have a stigmatism.
That is GOLD in my book for an indestructible prism scope.
If you're like me and tired of the starburst but love a 1x optic? do yourself a favor and get this prism for cheaper than some red dots out there!!!

Airsoft optic
The construction is good and the optic is clear. The brightness settings are very handy when you need them. But the reticle leaves something to be desired. The images on the website make it appear like it is bigger than it is. You can see the outer ring just fine, but everything inside it is too small to see. I handed the optic to a few other people and they were of the same opinion. This would be a great optic for hobby use, where accuracy is second to speed.
Pros:
- Clarity
Cons:
- Poor reticle
Best Used for:
- Airsoft

Reticle Crooked- Returned
Not having much luck with Optics... bought this to replace another returned optic from different manufacturer. Good looking, nice lines, housing nice and sturdy. Put the battery in and she lit right up. Nice clear optics, bight reticle with great field of view BUT the reticle was crooked leaning down on the left side by about 5 degrees. Thought maybe I was holding it at a slight angel so I mounted on my AR. Still crooked. Took it off placed it on flat counter top and took a peek, still crooked... just enough to drive you crazy! Had the wife take a look to make sure it wasn't me and she immediately said it was leaning left. ( and I didn't tell her in advance, just had her look and tell me her thoughts) Some folks could probably live with this as everything else was great... but for me it was just to aggravating. Returned.
Pros:
- Good looking, smooth lines, sturdy.
Cons:
- CROOKED RETICLE
Best Used for:
- Someone who isn't a perfectionist

Better than I expected.
A very nice sight if you are into close range shooting, but if you are into shooting at a range the AR-15 is designed for, you will need the Tripler, as the reticle is a bit busy for anything over 200 meters.
Pros:
- Battery type/cost of replacement
- No battery needed for reticle
- Very fast target aquisition
Cons:
- a bit heavy
- Locking screw loosens after every shot (55gr)
- Magnifier needed pass 200m
- Rectile can obstruct objects at a distance
- Light (red/green) reflects back at shooter
Best Used for:
- CQB
- Patrol
- security
