While the Burris AR-332 has not shipped yet, I wanted to leave some information that I just received from Josh in Tech Support at Burris. I will state my questions to Josh and his replies in quotation marks.

1. When is the AR-332 due to ship to distributors? "Honestly, I have no information of an exact ship date." I told him that Optics Planet said that they were told they would have them in mid-September. Josh said that he had no information to verify that time frame.

2. Is the AR-332 Fogproof, shockproof, and waterproof? "Yes to all. The AR-332 is of the highest quality, as are the other Burris scopes."

3. Where is the AR-332 manufactured? "In the Philippines."

4. Is the recticle visible when the illumination is turned off? "Yes, you will have the black markings of the recticle along with bullet drop and rings."

5. How many brightness settings? "There are 5 brightness settings for the red as well as the green."

6. What is the battery life expectancy? "On the brightest settings, the batteries are expected to last around 500 hours on red and around 1,000 hours on green.

7. What is the eye relief? "The eye relief is 2-1/2""
