Most Helpful Positive Review Product Info on Burris AR-332
While the Burris AR-332 has not shipped yet, I wanted to leave some information that I just received from Josh in Tech Support at Burris. I will state my questions to Josh and his replies in quotation marks. 1. When is the AR-332 due to ship to distributors? "Honestly, I have no information of...

Most Helpful Negative Review Burris AR-332 3x-32mm Tube Tactical Prism Red Dot Sight
I have tried to give an honest unbiased review as I did buy this scope and I do use it. If you want to target shoot at or over 100 yards, you wont be able to see if you hit a basic standard paper target with a bullseye due to the low magnification. You will need a good spotting scope or some better ...

Burris AR332

by David, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on August 12, 2025
Discontinued optic I know, but bought at $190 and put it on my .223 AR it’s a great scope, the sharp small reticle allows for great accuracy and scope feels like it’s built like a tank. Not the smallest or lightest optic but it’s the best one I’ve used.
Pros:
  • Very clear optic with great reticle
Cons:
  • a bit on the heavy side
Best Used for:
  • 200 yards and closer

I really like this sight.

by Mr.Nobody, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on July 17, 2025
Seems like all the negative comments are user error. Admittedly the eye relief takes getting used to. Crisp, clear, dots do not bleed together, focus works great, etched reticle(black) crisp and clear, red and green both bright and crisp. It's a great product.
Pros:
  • bright, crisp, clear, functional
Cons:
  • Eye relief learning curve
Best Used for:
  • Everyday use

A good looking optic with a clear lens at a fantastic price point

by James, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on July 15, 2025
This optic cuts out all of the fluff.
Pick red or green or leave it off and it works. The etched lens is my favorite feature so the optic functions either on or off.
It has rails on the top and either side to mount on and the knobs feel robust. Knobs for attachment to the rail and knobs for sight adjustment 10/10 heavy duty quality.
The only downside to this optic for me is that the eye relief is a little short with canted irons behind it. A very small complaint as you can still see the lit up dot with decent clarity, but it would be nice if the scope sat a little further back on the mount. Without canted irons behind it no issues with eye relief for an average height person.
I took this sight to the range over the weekend and first shots have me very happy with this purchase. Be sure to mindful that the sight does not turn off on its own so you will drain the battery if you forget to turn the light knob to zero.
Pros:
  • Lens are super clear
  • Quality and price and features
Cons:
  • Eye releif is a little short but nothing to worry about
  • lens cap a little flimsy
Best Used for:
  • 25-75yards

This thing feels like it's built like a tank. It's not going to shake apart or lose zero. The reticle is clear and sharp. Looking forward to years of service
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • solid
Cons:
  • Not the lightest
Best Used for:
  • AR or other rifle

Burris AR-332 Prism 3x32mm Ballistic CQ Reticle Red Dot Sight

by RUSSELL YOON, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 13, 2025
I believe this is a discontinued model, but the $200 price is right, it carries a lifetime warranty, and there are so many positive reviews I thought I'd give it a try. It's rugged, but not quite as heavy and bulky as compared with its competitors. The glass is very clear and the red and green illumination work well against contrasting backgrounds. What's nice is the black reticle is etched directly onto the glass so it can still be used if the battery dies. I put it on a 9mm AR pistol with a bubble level on the picatinny rail. Burris recommends zeroing at 100 yards which I did and found it to be very accurate at that distance. That's the length of my outdoor range and I have no interest in using it at further distances. I'm not at all disappointed.

Burris AR-332 is fantastic

by JimmyV, from NC, United States Written on May 18, 2025
I own two of these now and they are great optics. The glass is excellent, the eye box is generous, they hold zero, and the reticle is useful for multiple calibers/loads. They fit any ACOG style mount, though the included mount is decent. For under $200 these are a steal. It seems Burris has discontinued these and the 5x version which is a shame. Get one while you can.
