Mike's Review of OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris AR-332 Prism 3x32mm Ballistic CQ Reticle Red Dot Sight

Just sighted this scope in with my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 on Friday. Got my grouping down to a 4 inch circle at 100 yards with minimal effort. The adjustment screws are easy to turn I just used the backside of the little key from my cable lock. I got it with the QD mount so I can take it on and off in seconds and it's still zeroed. Awesome!

The adjustable brightness reticle is really nice. When I first looked at it inside I was worried because they all seemed too bright...to the point of being real fuzzy and distorted. But outside in natural sunlight it was much different. They were all basically usable but the 2 brightest green ones were to my liking.

They eye relief is fairly close to the scope. I have it mounted just in front of the backup iron sights, as far back as i can put it. with a good cheek weld I felt like my nose was pretty close to the slide on the action...not that it matters because it doesn't slide when firing the gun. You just have to be a bit closer than with some other zoom scopes. With that being said though, once I got the right position with a full circle view in my viewing eye I could open my other eye and shoot both eyes open no problem. The reticle was still clearly visible, background was clear and it was very easy to hit my target consistently at 100 yards.

For shooting targets at 100 yards, it performed great. Only guys at the range shooting better than me had hunting rifles with more zoomed scopes and were shooting off sandbags.
