Burris ar332 - OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris AR-332 Prism 3x32mm Ballistic CQ Reticle Red Dot Sight

I really wanted to like this scope, mostly because it's a great looking optic and OP had dealer demos for the best price I've seen it going for. Also, Burris had a rebate giving away a new FF3 for each one purchased. Unfortunately the eye relief is very short, maybe 2-1/2" at most. The position of the rear most bolt that attaches the scope to the rail requires this scope to be mounted further forward than I prefer, losing another inch of eye relief. It looks like the Larue QD mount will fix this problem but because the Larue mount sits all the way to the charging handle there is no room for a BUIS which is the only reason I'd want this in a QD mount. The reticle is OK. Not my favorite but it works. It is a nice reticle for close quarters but the fixed 3x slows close target acquisition for me and the BDC marks are very small and not the fastest for long range acquisition either. I think I was trying to fill to many roles with this optic.
