The risers would not fit on the rail except if I slid it down the rail. Luckily I was able to take everything off the rail. Positioned the two risers for my scope then repositioned the iron sites. Once in place the risers were very hard to get tight enough. I had to retighten after shooting. I hope they will not be an issue if I ever have þo remove.

Purchased this to mount a Crimson Trace Reflex Red Dot. Could not mount it securely to the rail. The mounting screws were too narrow for the piccatiny rail slots. I trusted the name Burris but this product does not work.

Garbage mount for sure. Won’t tighten up on picatinny rail. Wiggles all over the place. Very disappointed that Burris would even put their name on this. Gonna have to find something a little more sturdy to raise up my Holosun 510.

I used a Wheeler torgue wrench.
Use blue loctite.Let the loctite dry 24 hrs.
Stagger the torgue back & forth a few lbs at a time.
Do not tighten one screw all the way before the outher . It puts to much resistance pressure . Use EQUAL pressure (staggered)
I actually torque 25 lbs . No problems with looseness.
Good mounts for my Bussis Eliminator 4 scope.
Would buy agin with confidence.

I saw some positive and some negative a lot of the negatives word from several years ago but it’s June 2022 and they still do not fit the Picatinny rail. I tightened it to the point to strip the screw almost and it’s still wiggles badly

I tried mount this to my SIG M400, but the clamp would not tighten up to the Picatinny rail. no matter what I tried, it would not tighten. I called SIG tech support, nothing wrong with my rifle. I called Burris tech support, they suggested trying another Picatinny rail. Good idea, I thought. I tried my Bushmaster, it would not tighten. I am returning it to Optics Planet (who was great BTW), and will pursue a different solution.
I can't imagine why this riser block doesn't work, but it seems that several others have the same issue with it.
Pros:
- Really, none if it doesn't work

very compact and no screw heads or knobs sticking out the sides. only drawback is it has to be installed from the end of pic rail which also means even if it comes loose it will not fall off. it fastens securely and has never come loose.

I ordered 2 of these for my AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor. The extra height is perfect to get a 50mm scope to the proper clearance from the rail. Rock solid mount and gun shoots dead on still. I would definitely buy this again.

Fantastic optics, great light performance and quick response times. Was very easy to program and had simple steps to setup. Great scope for the long shots and will be a great asset to my hunting scope equipment.

I am sure everyone has seen the negative reviews about how they are not able to tighten this mount down tight enough without stripping the allen screws. This is true and I have resolved this problem. You have to remove the 2 screws from the mount. Then take a metal cutting blade and make the cut deeper without cutting it into 2 pieces. This will weaken the top portion enough that when you tighten the screws now, to will bend and secure itself to your weapon. Had the company just cut the crease a little deeper it would have been a fine product without having to do it yourself. My Burris Eliminator III is now set securely to my Styer Scout picatinny rail. Burris, don't thank me, just take note and fix it so we don't have to. Now it is a 4 Star rating because I fixed your product.
