My first thermal. If I had known the battery life was so bad I never would have spent the money. Slightly better with rechargeable batteries. Truly impractical for extended use and bless maybe used with an external battery pack.

I bought this Thermal Clip-on 5 months ago. When I bought it I believed I was going to be able to use it as it was advertised.
I live in Alaska and planned a hunt in Texas for wild hogs, if you have ever been to Alaska you know it cost a lot of money to travel out of Alaska and a long flight. When I received my Burris Thermal Clip-on, there was no clip-on attachment with the Thermal. When I called Burris
they told me that the clip-on attachment wasn't available, but would be in 2 or 3 weeks. That ruined my planned hunt, I went on the hunt, but wasn't able to hunt at night like I wanted. The problem is Burris keeps saying that the Thermal Clip-on attachment will be available in 2 or 3 weeks, But yet it has been 5 months now and still no attachment. When the Thermal Clip-on Attachment does become available they expect me to buy it for $189. even though when I purchased the Thermal Clip-on they didn't say it was sold separately or that it was not available.
Burris has the worst customer service I have experienced. It is sad as all my riffles and handguns have Burris scopes. I have been loyal to them, but they don't care.

This is a monocular that has the accessory option for a clip on. But Burris does not have any available "clip on" adapters, Burris Customer support will continue to say we should be getting them made and in stock in a few months and they don't know the price for the clip on adapters yet. Burris website will delete any reviews that are negative about them not having a clip on. Don't be like me and buy one thinking you will be able to use it and go hunting. It ruined a hunt when I got it in and no way to mount to scope.
