Burris FastFire 3

The sight came with a 1632 battery. However, I couldn’t get the battery compartment lid to screw on with battery in place (it would without a battery installed). So, I called Burris support in case I was doing something wrong. Tech told me to use a Duracell battery, as they are a hair smaller than other brands. You would think that Burris would include a Duracell battery with the sight or make the battery compartment lid a little bigger (have more threads on it to engage sight housing).

nice little dot

Got this dot for my PSA dagger after losing my vortex viper to a warranty claim. I like it pretty well so far and it's an even more compact frame without sacrificing zero to change batteries. Finish is a little bit delicate, but no worse than any anything else in the price range. I'm not a huge fan of the single button design, but it seems pretty robust compared to some similar options. Didn't come with a cover or any screws other than what's needed to mount it to the picatinney rail. I had to find some screws out of another micro rds I had and trim them down with a Dremel to fit.

Great optic. Tough as they come. Easy to install. Easy to sight in. Holds zero shooting 3.5 inch turkey shells.

Great for my FN 5.7!

You can't go wrong with any Burris product. I struggled to find a decent red dot sight for my FN 5.7 due to it's size and mounting difficulty. The Burris Fast Fire fit the mold perfectly. Great MOA for quick targeting, very easy to zero, and keeps zero through hundreds so far of rounds. I love the cover that comes with it too!

Didn’t work right out the box.

Wouldn’t turn on right out the box. Battery cover stripped out almost instantly. I returned it going to get a vortex or holosun.

Red Dot Sight

I like the slight. It compact and lightweight, yet sturdily built. Only negative for me. I’m a left handed shooter. The screw for the picatinny rail has you putting the screw on the right side. Where I wanted the sight at, the screw interferes with the shell casing ejecting. So I had to set the sight further ahead on the rail than I wanted to.

Not set up fo left handers when mounting
