Best Bang for the Buck!
I am not a hunter but more of a tactical shooter (retired military). I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to try out this scope for a comparison between this and LPVO. The greatest advantage is the eye relief and light transmission seemed so much better since it's only a 4x vs a 6/8x for the same magnification range. The quality of the build and clarity are way above the pricing and I would say it puts it up into the $5-600 range. so it's a fantastic scope to start on. While the illumination was bright enough for full sun in the low desert of Arizona I wi...

Burris rifle scope
Burris name is highly recognized for excellence and this scope delivers. Optic Plant was very easy to work with, easy tracking of shipped items and delivered on time in perfect condition. Better value than Amazon. I am very pleased with Optic Planet

First ever scope
No point of reference as this is my first scope. However, for the price it is extremely clear and the glass is great, would definitely recommend as an entry scope if you're not trying to drop $1000+ for an optic. The eye relief seems to be pretty forgiving and the knobs feel solid.

Rugged Reliable and Ready for action
The Burris 2-8x35 with the illuminate reticle is a great scope for the price. Optical quality are on par with most of the major brands I’ve shot like Nikon, Vortex, Leopold etc. This model features an optical illuminated reticle which I found a good choice for low light conditions. Be aware that the center illuminates so shoot at a range where you have to account for drop would not be recommended with the illuminated reticle. I found it easy to shoot all the way out to 200 yards with a 5.56 no problem. Utilizing the 4x zoom feature and the E3 ballistic reticle I felt comfortable with the longer shots.
I am using this with a Burris P.E.P.R mount and install was a breeze. Paired with the mount eye relief was a breeze to set up. I will likely pick up this optic or similar for my .300 blk to have an Ar platform to handle both hogs and deer eliminating the need to carry two rifles to the stand.
Overall this is a real bang for your buck…pun intended.
Burris Optics gave me this free product to try.
