Better mechanically than expected - Burris Fullfield 3-12x42mm 1in Tube Riflescope

There is good balance between budget and functionality here.

Zeroing controls are very straight forward, and offer a good deal of adjustment and configuration optics. The turret ring having been made with no splined interface comes as both a good budget design as well as gives the ability to be picky about marking alignments.

Reticle was very well thought out! The simple center illuminating cross is all that's needed for hunting applications, and the wind hold design is basically hidden within a simple duplex. This is a great reticle to help duplex only hunters start adding simple references for wind hold.

Burris is walking a very nice line for budget vs features by how they are engineering the features to work along with budget minded manufacturing / machining process.
I don't want to push the budget any higher on this scope, but a true MOA turret (not SMOA 1/4")and a 5-6 mrad turret would be FABULOUS!

It's hard to come from a mindset of precision rifle to hunting and still expect a scope to track even when it's a more budget minded proposition.
