I’ve used LEUPOLD scopes for 50 years. In the recent past they started using twin erector springs. Burris has been using them longer, plus this scope uses STEEL TWIN erector springs and not brass ones. Big plus is the reticle is ETCHED onto the erector lens which cannot break like traditional wire reticles. This scope brightness exceeds anything else on the market at one third the price of the competition. As a marketing gimmick, Burris lists this scope for 4 specific calibers but in reality all four scopes are identical with parallax set at 50 yards instead of traditional 100 yard parallax. This makes it perfect for 22 lr rifles. I seriously doubt it can be knocked out of alignment even with neglectful or intentional treatment. Twin steel erector springs and glass etched reticle is a perfect combination!
