I purchased with the intention of scrapping the tripod and utilizing the window mount portion of the unit only. The tripod is useable for a very light weight optic.
Pros: The fine az and el adjusters worked well
Cons: It is only useful in mounting light weight optics

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
