burris Xtr 2 scopes
To start this off, if you are only shooting at 25 yards, this is the wrong scope. Keep in mind that I now own three of these scopes with varying magnification. They are easy to use, but they really shine past 50 yards. Clarity is excellent! Holding zero excellent!This is a perfect scope for getting into longer range shooting. I will update when I use the scope in the winter. We all know what can happens to some scopes when it gets cold. I will be using one of these for hunting season, bulky, but they work.

Very well build scope. With using the mill dot reticle I had it sighted in with 3 shots at 100 yards with my 264 lbc, each click of the turret is a little stiff but well defined, I feel it has loosened up since being used (or I just got used to it). I have only shot out to 300 yards with it so far and it has performed flawless, I will be taking it out to 1000 yards in the next couple weeks. I suggest if you get this scope with the G28 Mil-dot reticle you get it with the mil click also, I was a little worried at first because I am so used to moa adjusted scopes but after watching a few videos and reading up on it, I could not be happier.

long range tactical shooting and whitetail deer hunting
after searching optics planet for several months comparing all the different scopes available I found this was an excellent purchase exceeded my expectations. Given my price range, combined with all the features and considering the need for a strong 34mm tube the Burris was a no brainer. very good scope.

Great sight for the money. Comparable Luepold was over twice the money. Be sure to receive the item before buying the rings to mount it. We went through 3 sets of rings before we got one that would clear the barrel.

Best Sccope in my safe
I am truly impressed with this scope. Exceptionally clear optics, highly visible and functionally accurate reticle, even when maxed out for range. Was a little surprised by the dimness of the first couple of illumination settings until I plugged in my night vision, then it all made sense. A little on the heavy side and forget any focus under a fifty yards (but that's what lasers are for). Difficult to zero with the factory zero stop for elevation, but once you get in up on paper, dead accurate way out there. Coming off my SR 762 and going on my model 10 HS Precision. Know 1100+ yds are a possibility.
