Great value, good product - Burris Xtreme Tactical Quick Detach Rifle Scope Rings

I used these on a Springfield M1A with a Troy Battlerail, which has a full length picatinny rail. The 1/2" rings will clear a scope with a 40mm objective lens, and the 1" will clear folding sights. If you want to have back up folding iron sights, or have a scope with a larger than 40mm Obj.,then use the 1", If you aren't using irons, and have a scope with a 40mm or smaller obj., and want your scope as close to the rifle as possible, use 1/2".

The rings lock and hold tight to the picatinny rail.
