Xtreme doesn't do these rings justice!

Up to now I've never used truly heavy duty rings, but I needed something quickly to allow me to use a 20 MOA picatinny rail on my hunting rifle. Optics Planet shipped the exact item as described and did it rapidly enough for me to receive it before I left to shoot at the White Buffalo at the NRA Whittington Center (1123 yards). I don't own any magnum rifles, but I'm certain these rings would hold any scope soundly in place despite heavy recoil or harsh conditions.

Solid but heavy/thick

Purchased these for a shotgun, hoping to keep the scope firmly attached.

No negative on the product, but I did find in mounting is that the thickness of the rings limited my placement, since I don't have a fully slotted rail. And the weight is considerable on top of the added weight of the larger scope I went to. Probably should have just used standard Burris mounts.

But in the end the scope is decent where it sits and these things are super robust and solid.
