Most Helpful Negative Review Base clamp screws stripped.
First ring worked correctly. Base clamp screw threads on second ring stripped before the ring tightened up on the base. The female threads stripped which indicates that they were out of spec. I drilled and tapped both rings for 8-32 clamp screws. This solved the problem and gives a more secure c...

These things are solid and they do not mar up your expensive scopes. The polymer ring inserts are solid and hold well. Sometimes the screws threading is. not perfect and makes installation more challenging.

The package I received was missing some of the plastic inserts. There were only enough inserts to mount one ring leaving the other ring absolutely useless.

Burris Signature Zee 30mm rings

I've been using only Burris Signature rings since they came out. Both 1" and now 30mm. Can always get the scope aligned properly, elevation set properly for the scope's adjustments, and no problems if the mounting holes aren't exactly in line. Plus no metal against the scope for no ring marks. Best thing going.

I've been using Signatures since they first came out, and now The Zee's exclusively on everything.. Mostly 30mm. No metal to metal with the scope, they're the best thing going. I won't use anything else.

Saved the scope

I purchased a new scope and after installing it, I went to the range for sight in. I found out I didn't have enough windage moa on the scope for a proper centering on paper. I talked to my gunsmith and he recommended I get these rings because they have inserts that will add moa where it's needed. It worked great. I would recommend that you tighten the rings a few times after shooting to allow the inserts to settle in. Like all scopes be sure to use a torque wrench.
