Good budget scope for the price. Csnt really beat it for the price your spending.i have it on a Remington 783 in .308 and it works just fine. Just need a decent scope mount and your all set. Better then a truglo or Amazon scope

I had an older(20+ yrs) Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4 circle x...as eyes got older wanted to change to3x9x40 but liked the circle x reticle...reticle only came with a 3x9 Banner not the Trophy so I bought the Banner...it's a nice scope optics crystal clear (dusk to dawm multi coated)...only issue I have with the scope is that the magnification turn knob is very stiff to operate...as a deer hunter that can be an problem.
Cons:
- magification adjustment knob stiff

Fantastic product for the price. Clear, good eye relief and the circle X makes all the difference for quick shots with 70 year old eyes. We are replacing 30 + year old Redfield scopes and the new improved optics of today surpass the old top of the line scopes of the 1970's. Our shooting is 250 yards and under and the circle x is just right. I would not suggest these for the hunt of a lifetime but for NY whitetails, bears, and coyotes these are excellent and great values. Not just for black powder. We may need a couple more. Thank you Optics Planet for great service and fast shipping.
Best Used for:
- general hunting short to mid-range

I bought this because it was on sale last year thinking it would do me until I could get something better. I put it on my AR that I use for coyotes and I was pleased with it. Glass is very clear for what it is. The relief seems to have a bit of a small sweet spot(especially at full magnification) but other than that I have no issues with it. I haven't had loss of zero at all even on a 30-06 I put it on for a bit to test out. I am debating purchasing a few more of these to put on my kid's rifles because they seem well made and sturdy enough to withstand a kid beating it up tromping through the woods.
Pros:
- Well-made.
- clear, nice recticle
Cons:
- Eye reliefe is not very forgiving at higher powers.

I think this is a great entry scope. This one will be used for muzzle-loading. Have one already on a youth model 243 that has been great. Easy adjustment and best used to about 200 yards. Clarity is excellent for this price range. High quality built scope.
Pros:
- easy to adjust
- Sight picture
- Clarity, light transmission
Best Used for:
- short to medium range hunting
- muzzleloaders

Excellent deer rifle scope for the money! My second one, first is on my Traditions muzzleloader. Like the Circle X crosshairs! Makes sighting in easier, just encircle the bull's eye. Excellent for quick, running, and/or low light conditions! Instant target acquisition! Also, sense of confidence knowing the Circle is the kill zone! Do yourself a favor...spent a little and get a lot!

Bought this scope for a "budget build hog gun", Model 783 remmy 30-06, with shortened barrel. I hunt at night with an red LED hog light. The reticle shows up very well. Well pleased so far, hope the zero holds up under the recoil which is not bad with the short barrel. Shoots sub moa hand loads. Whacked the first pig today with "Mr. Shorty". Knocked her over like a bowling pin. Good purchase, quick shipping, thanks O.P.
Pros: eye relief, circle x reticle, light transmission, easy sight-in, PRICE.
Cons: none so far

Awesome light weight scope and the cross hairs look great too. The black powder coating looks so much better then a shiny finish.
