My scope was used mainly as a precision all in one SPR tool.
First of all, the optics is clear, very clear edge to edge. The adjustment knobs are big and easy to maneuver.
Its horseshoe reticle when turned to highest ill. setting is bright and noticeable enough during bright daylight to be used as a red dot scope, along with almost perfectly flat imaging at 1x magnification (I said almost because we all know magnifying scopes will always have that little closed-up(magnified), barrel distortion, even with big names out there such as US Optics, Leupold, March.... That's why they usually put 1.1x magnification). Well, this one is almost barrel distortion free, almost true 1magnification, making speed shooting a breeze.
Using its MRad reticle for precision shooting is very easy, the reticle is not too big that covers your target and its 10 Mil marks reticle lets picking targets at different ranges easy and Fun, so much Fun, in fact, hitting targets at 600-700yds is piece of chicken fry. However, it's not suited for shooting tight group because, well, its center dot is 1MOA.
Now, is there any drawback? Yes, there's one little drawback, its weight. It's hefty, but the build quality is there, I don't think you can break this scope. Even though it's a few Ounces heavier compares to other optics of its range, an overbuilt is better than an underbuilt, at least in my book. Plus, you get a life time quarantee and it is tremendously less expensive when compares to other options out...
