As long as you know what you are getting into, this is a good unit. It delivers C-quality photos compared to the standard of today's digital photography. The interface is basic. My father, who is not tech savvy AT ALL, was able to grasp the functionality of this unit. As long as you are not expecting a pro caliber unit and just use if for fun shots, this is a good unit for gift or recreation.
Pros: Great Quality Optics on the Binocs
Cons: Low Megapixel resolution
