These binoculars are rugged and clear. I think they are very good especially for the price and being water proof. I wanted to get the compact ones but they were out of stock. Pros: Water proof, rugged, clear Cons: Bulky

Good first pair of binoculars

I found that after 3 years of use, the insides would fog up even though they are "waterproof" and "fogproof". They are a good set for the price. I was dissappointed that the manufacturer would not warranty this though.
For someone living on the west coast this would not be the best buy.
