Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent, meets expectations
This is really an excellent product for the money. I use it for watching nocturnal animals in the woods near my house. The sound amplification is great, as is the night vision. I wouldn't recommend this gen 1 scope for use where there are bright lights nearby, such as in a city. Pros: built in audio amp, excellent night vision gen 1, long battery life Cons: gen 1, but still good for it

Innovative Night Vision Device

It's served me well so far! I'd never used a night vision device before so I didn't know exactly what to expect. I was surprised just how crisp the images are. I thought that was only in the movies but you can see at night with this one just fine.
Pros: Good Image Quality, Convenient use
Cons: Careful where you put the boom mic

Great Unit

I would definitely recommend this one if you need night vision equipment. For a gen 1, the image quality is superb. You might need some extra batteries if you plan on running it for a long time.
