Great marine binoculars. The eye relief is nice. Very thick hand grips allows for a more steady feel when on the water. The clarity is great when on the water and it seems to cut the glare from the water sun reflection. The housing is rugged and has a good grip feel for anti slip. The binoculars were out of the box perfect condition and easy to use and adjust.

I bought these just before vacation because I knew I'd be hiking up mountains with views of the ocean and going on at least one sightseeing boat trip on Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Using the binoculars allowed greatly improved vision of three things in particular;
1. The view of all downhill terrain, seashore, and islands from mountaintops. Details were greatly enhanced and features could be clearly identified.
2. Animals like puffins, eagles, and seals, and objects like lighthouses and surrounding buildings were not just vague objects distant across the water from the boat, but could be seen in much greater detail.
3. I never thought of myself as a birdwatcher but it was fascinating to watch seagulls fly to the ocean again and again, grab crabs and toss and swallow the small ones on the water and bring the larger ones back to shore to peck through the shells to get the meat. I could see the pupils of the seagulls' eyes and details of the crabs. It gave me a new appreciation of how lucky humans generally are not to be lower in the food chain.

Buying the binoculars definitely improved what I was able to see on the vacation.

They are big and a bit heavy, which isn't an issue for me, though others found that less than optimal.

I'm now looking for another pair of smaller and lighter binoculars for other family members.

I purchased these after an online chat with customer service. They have exceeded our expectations for whale watching in Hawaii. I wish we had two pair. Great service and great product. thanks.

I use them all the time when kayaking and in many trips, already a few years carrying them around and getting them in the water and they are just perfect, I use them at nightime too with a nice moonlight you can see super clear. I use the compass a lot when in the water and recently learned well the grid reading to get accurated distances.

Having been a rep for Bushnell many years ago, it is good to see that they have maintained the resolution that users expect from good binoculars. I use my new binoculars mainly for navigation, however, my nephnew and one of his friends were impressed with the clear views of landmarks and other boats.
