Bushnell 2x28mm digital sentry nv - Bushnell 2X28mm Digital Sentry NV Monocular Weapon Helmet Mount

I bought this digital night vision sight so I could both mount it to a helmet and on a rifle. The clarity is good. I have only tested in town not out in the woods yet. It is very clear and has lots of detail. It uses ordinary AA batteries and they do not last long. I would recommend either lithium AA size of rechargeable AA unless you want to buy a lot of batteries. The range I have used to view this sight at night has not exceeded 50 yards but everything was crystal clear. I will update this when I get the opportunity to get out in the woods with no external lights except the stars. My main reason for buying this digital night sight was I wanted to see if it would benefit me driving and seeing in the dark for short ranges such as power outages, storms, and identifying things rather close. It says it is clear up to 280 yards. We just went thru Irma here in Florida and it worked flawless.
