Bushnell Elite 3-12x44 Illuminated MilDot Reticle Riflescope, 30mm Tube
This is a great scope for an entry level FFP scope. The glass is clear and bright for it's price point. Turrets are easy to adjust with nice positive clicks. The only thing I don't care too much about is the illumination of the reticle. The vertical and horizontal portions of the reticle do not evenly illuminate.

Best value for your money at that price
Hard to beat the value and features for this scope. You would have to spend another $200 to get glass this good with an adjustable objective.
Long rang shooting with .223/5.56 has proven it to be a solid performer. No problem getting out to 500+ yards with this scope. That 12x magnification helps.
Pros: Very rugged. Glass is very clear. Return to zero is spot on.
Cons: Does not have a zero-stop. Illuminated reticle is not visible on bright sunny days.
