Papertiger308's Review of Bushnell 4.5-30x50mm XRS Elite Tactical Rifle Scope
When looking at the $1700-$2100 range of scopes the Bushnell ERS/XRS should be on your short list. If you have read other reports on the XRS you will know that the resolution degrades after about 25x. I was highly concerned about this, however after pushing the scope over 800 yds the resolution is adequate. That is the price you pay for getting a 30x top end without spending $3k+.
The turret movements are very good, and the zero stop is easy to use. While some reviewers have commented on the high turret profile, I would not allow this to deter you as they are a pleasure to dial. The FDE models have a great look and the G2DMR reticle is aces! Simple and uncluttered but gives the shooter all the information needed with a quick glance.
Price should always be considered and the Bushnell XRS lives up to its price point.
