Most Helpful Positive Review Awsome!
I purchased a bushnell recently after having been through to other main brands, and being very dissapointed. I have been thoroughly pleased with this camera, the clarity of the photos and the sensing range are excellent. I even got a video of a black bear trying to tear my camera off of the tree I h...

Great Cam for a Great Price!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on April 22, 2010
Bought the Bushnell 5MP Trophy Cam 119405 for my father-in-law's birthday, and Optics Planet gave me a screaming deal! This was my first experience with a trail cam and I was very happy with the ease of setup and programming the camera. Instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. Father-in-law has been wanting a trail cam for some time now & he is very pleased with this one. Takes great pictures both day and night! IR flash works as advertised to 45 feet. Have read some complaints about no aiming device, and the buckle for the mounting strap. Aiming seems easy even with no aiming device, and I will say the plastic buckle seems flimsy, but as long as you're careful I see this thing lasting a real long time! Highly recommend this cam for such a great price!
Pros: Easy to set up and program, great pics day and night!
Cons: Mounting strap buckle seems brittle...

Definitely Worth It!

Of all the trail camera's I have bought, this is the best one. It is small, which makes it easy to move around. The pictures turn out good and it is easy to use. Plus, it doesn't ruin your SD cards. I strongly recommend this camera.

I have other trail cameras but love to carry a small trail cam in my pack to check out areas I find druing the season. This fits the bill perfect. Takes good pictures and quick to set up.I hunt public land so it would be nice to have a way to lock it to the tree.
Pros: Size, Battery life
Cons: no good way to lock to tree

GREAT FOR THE MONEY BUT BE FOREWARNED!!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on January 10, 2010
This is a great little camera. Once you get it all setup, it's a snap. But what is NOT listed in the instructions i that the camera REQUIRES a Sandisk-brand SD card. Will not work w/ any other memory card. It took a call to customer service after a while f frustration to figure this out as it is not listed anywhere in the manual. Also there is no battery install guideline or indications anywhere in the manual or camera.
These small issues were all I encountered. Once these were resolved, all is smooth sailing.
Pros: good photos, small compact size
Cons: Must use Sandisk Memory card, no battery install instructions

Trophy Cam

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 4, 2010
These are great camera's and the best camera I have ever used in a similar or less price range. I own 4 of these cameras and have only had one problem. The lens on one of them came loose but it still works as long as I tap the camera to get it to shake into place. I have inquired through email about warranty on this but have not received a response. I have owned many cameras over the years and highly recommend this one for the money. If you want the best money can buy, then get a Reconyx.
Pros: Great battery life and good quality pictures
Cons: durability

The Small / Compact size makes it much easier to setup than the other models. The pictures it takes are GREAT!

Pros: Small Footprint, Easy on Batteries
Cons: Couldn't get it to work with 2GB SD card - works perfect with 1GB SD Card though
