These are my first binoculars for birding. I had used a friends much more expensive pair before and I can't really see much difference, at least not $400 difference. Yeah, these probably won't take the beating through the years like others but for the price I feel like I got much more than I payed for.
Pros: Great size, weight, and feel for all-purpose optics.
Cons: For less than 100 bucks? I don't think so.

We live in a wooded suburb and see many 'critters' as my wife calls them. She was ecstatic to receive the Natureview 8x42 Binoculars and she's been amazed at being able to clearly see a hummingbird perched on a tree limb 40 feet off the ground and 100 feet away. Watching white-tail fawns and red fox from a distance that doesn't disturb them provides her great enjoyment. It's a great match of size, weight, ease of viewing, and a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for much more for the price.

I needed newer binoculars to view birds and wildlife at my get away country place. These fit the bill, giving me a clear, sharp view and I especially like that they aren't too heavy. I'd definitely recommend them.

These are wonderful entry level binoculars. I use mine for bird watching in my backyard and on trips. I liked them so much that I purchased a pair for my brother's birthday gift. He was delighted! Price on Opticsplanet is very competitive. You'll be happy you purchased these binoculars. BGD
