Most Helpful Positive Review More than just lighter
I bought this over the standard Advanced model because of the weight difference, which is about half a pound. But this has more features than the Advanced model including a well fit quick release mount, and a second tilt handle whereas the Advanced has one tilt handle and one small flip handle. T...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not very sturdy
I bought this tripod to use with my Vortex Razor HD spotting scope. It's not nearly sturdy enough to adequately support a nice spotting scope. The controls are also cumbersome to figure out/adjust. Pros: lightweight Cons: not very sturdy, controls are awkward

Great for the truck

by Jared Campbell, from NV, United States Written on September 26, 2017
This is a solid tripod. Works great at the range or scouting near the truck. I would not recommend this for backpacking. The tripod is too long and bulky to fit in my back pack. I am not a fan of the added lever handle for the tilt head either. It is more for camera usage than for spotting scope use. It is a really sturdy, strong tripod for the gun range though.

A sturdy light weight product

by Tsunami, from NY, United States Written on February 24, 2017
This tripod is very easy to set up and holds its settings well. Adjustability is through the entire range of possible utilization from sitting to standing and it allows for totally uneven ground. Rotation adjustments are free enough to allow movement on 2 axis yet quickly lock at any setting for long term viewing. Set up is quick and secure.

Bushnell titanium tripod

by Milesoffcourse, from MI, United States Written on April 28, 2016
The Bushnell Advanced Titanium Tripod has been a excellent choice for my Pentax spotting scope.
I have been using an adaptation for my iPhone on the eyepiece. This allows me to shoot and make sight adjustments easily.
This has been a great value for the investment.

Used with Bushnell spotting scope

by Mick, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on April 7, 2016
Tripod is light but still quite solid. Bought it to go with Bushnell scope. Didn't realize scope was so big and heavy. When legs are fully extended, scope is a little shaky. Will probably have to set it up on a table or desk for regular viewing. Easy set up and pan head is convenient.

Mounts the Bushnell 20-60 x80 45 Degree Legend Ultra HD Spotting Scope

Very easy to use. Light weight. Sturdy. Well constructed. Adjusts to my height w/o a problem (6'3") and works for my wife too at 5'2". Can lock easily in all directions or allow for a pan function, which I like most.

Bushnell Advanced Titanium Tripod w/ 3-Way Pan Head

by Garnett 169, from OK, United States Written on March 16, 2016
Well built and solid platform for Spotting Scope. Much better than cheesy tripod that came with my spotting scope. Legs extend easily and lock firm for uneven ground. The 3 way pan head is a great feature, however the tripod I received will not lock up on the Right to left axis. If I can't come with a way to lock this down the tripod may be going back to OP.

Bushnell Titanium w/3 way pan head

by Peter, from WA, United States Written on July 7, 2015
I use this tripot with my spotting scope on the rifle range. Using the tripod on a separate base is a real advantage since you are not distrubing the view during firing. It is very stable, easy to set up, light and sturdy. Good product.
Best Used for:
  • shooting/range day
