Ar-15 offset use - Bushnell AR Optics First Strike 2.0 Reflex Red Dot Sight

Hello fellow first responders, military, vets, and gun enthusiasts, I was in need of an offset site for my AR rifle. I already have a 1-8x24 scope as my primary site since this rifle is more for long range, but needed something for close contact drills. I opted for this Bushnell Optic for one primary reason, ease of access to the battery compartment (it slides out of the right side). This is a perfect setup for my needs since there is no need to remove the optic plus the on/off button is on top of the site (so no trying to get to the left side of optic which is butted up against my primary scope). So far it's been a nice addition, but I still need more practice time with it to truly review it. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Hope this helps with your needs and/or decision making.
