D's Review of Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x24mm LPVO Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)
I ordered this optic twice and both times what was in the box is the non illuminated drop zone scope. 71424 is what is in the box.
The box ID and product are correct, 71424I but the box shows the BTR1 reticle and that it is illuminated. It is supposed to be the illuminated BTR2 reticle. What is inside the box is the 71424 drop zone, non illuminated, crosshair reticle. This discrepancy was very much brought to OP attention as well as the distributor, as well as Bushnell. OP assured me that the correct item was in stock and available. I made a point to tell them about the wrong packaging, they assured me it was correct. So they sent out a second and when I saw the distributor was Bill Hicks I instantly knew it was wrong and it was. Exact same screw up, packaging and all. So it went back again. I wound up getting a different optic. OP was cordial and did me right as I got a more expensive optic for the same discounted deal I was getting on the Bushnell and the shipping was on them.
I think to this day all of these scopes are still packaged incorrectly. Bushnell never responded and Bill Hicks didn’t care. Said it was optics planet problem. I said but YOU are the one sending them out and YOU are aware they are packaged wrong. Didn’t matter.
I’d still like one, the correct one but at this point I would bet they are still all packaged wrong.
