easy to install,comes with a lock and i can leave my camera knowing it will be safe in the woods.optics planet is a great store for all your hunting supplies!!

Bear safe box
Thin guage metal but serves the purpose. Needs the locking system to be more hidden to prevent thieves from cutting lock. Lag bolt to a tree and it works fine. Works great for setting up on bear baits or bear populated areas. Again, not heavy duty built but will work just fine for bears.

Bearly protection little more
It is functional as a curious bear box but nothing more. A determined bear would have it off a tree in a heartbeat but my real issue is that any redneck with a leatherman would only need about 30 seconds to pry open the box. It's a very light weight steel and the lid design is not secure at all. The tab where the lid is inserted through is only about 1/4" long 20 gage steel, could almost be pryed over and out with bare hands. When I bolt the box to a tree, the box holes bend out around the lag bolts. I believe if someone wanted they could rip it off a tree with the bolt holes tearing aroubng the fasteners. It works to keep bears from knocking your camera around but I'm disapointed in Bushnell on this one.

Bushnell Case OK
The case fits the camera well but if you want to secure the case to a large tree you have to use 3 inch screws. The holes in the case were small and I had to drill them out to fit. I then ran into an issue of the camera fitting in the case with large heads on the screws but got different screws that worked.

If using a lag bolt to secure, the head can interfere with the built in loops on the back of the Bushnell camera.
