Most Helpful Positive Review Solidly built and capture light and resolve images well
I have a pair of Nikon Action 16x50s which I really like, as does my wife, but we were looking to get something a bit better. At 12x, these are easier to hold steady - 16x is nice, but unless you lean against something, it can be hard to hold still. It is great for scanning (a hill for wolves, grizz...

Most Helpful Negative Review trophy xlt 12x50 binos
The binos themselves are great but the lens caps are useless unless you totally remove them. Neither opticsplanet or Bushnell have a solution to this problem. Anyone that tries using the caps the way they are designed will be totally disappointed. The binoculars are great so i will just throw the c...

Good value

by PAHuntTeam, from PA, United States Written on July 15, 2015
For the money, these binoculars perform as well as more expensive competitors. The focus dial is a little jumpy but good clarity at long ranges. Comfortable to hold and can be used if you wear glasses. A solid performer in this price range.
Pros:
  • good value
Cons:
  • focus wheel smoothness not always best

Sensational quality

by Big Red, from Western Australia, Australia Written on August 26, 2014
I recently bought these binoculars for a trip out into the Great Sandy desert. I was a bit hesitant at first due to the distortion because of moving air. Definitely nothing to worry about. The depth of field is amazing as well as the clarity. Objects at 1 meter were as clear as objects 2 km away. Simply amazing.
This product is highly recommended. It is great value, great quality and will not let you down.
For people with eyes quite close together they may be a bit of a problem they, but that usually indicates a lack of brain matter, so should not really be an issue as they will not know how to use them anyway.

Forest Fire Tower Observer

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on September 11, 2011
Being a forest fire tower observer, I was able to spot a wildfire while it was in it's infantcy. I dispatched our brush trucks and our plane.because of the quick response of our fire wardens, the firewas contained to 1/2 acre of forest, saving several homes from any damage.
Pros: Great price, qiuck shipping.
Cons: I wish they were a little lighter.

Excellent binoculars for the money!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 24, 2011
These binoculars were excellent! With the 50mm objective, I could see visibly better in low-light than with my Leupold Cascades 10x42's. The only problem I had with them is they weren't narrow enough for my wife's eyes. So, I am sending them back and buying the Bone Collector 10x42's.
Pros: Low light visibility
