lives up to the name
this is a lot bigger than I thought but the extra FOV (field of view) nice for moving from target to target. almost double the FOV than most red dots that are 20mm. has held zero so far. does come with lens covers which is always a plus. does have a tiny bit of a greenish blue hue to the lens but ba...

NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH!!!
New to the optics games and decided to give this larger tube red dot a shot. Great field of view no argument there but the daytime brightness setting was horrible. Given I live and shoot in the desert, but still would lose the dot staring at white steel target mid to late afternoon.
Great concept, ...

Bushnell tac optics big red dot sight
The Bushnell tac optics big red dot sight goes perfectly with my 15-22. It's small and light, easy to install, easy to calibrate and easy to use. I recommend this sight for a very good budget sight.

Big D scope
This scope works great on my S&W AR-15 Sport 2. Nice size, easy to sight in. Fit on perfect with magpul flip up sights. Perfect co-witness right out of the box. Great value for people not looking to spend hundreds of dollars.

appears to be a good value
The trusty 11 year old TRS-25 on my 30 yr old 870 Express HD shoty went wacky. EOtech, Aimpoint, and Fast Fires that adorn rifles and precision handguns seemed wrong and overpriced for this humble slide gun. I wanted something built tough with a large FOV. I also love the OFF click between each brightness setting. Aimpoint should take a hint. Bright, reasonably crisp 3 MOA dot, clear glass and handles a strong dose of the heaviest Brenneke slugs better than my old shoulder. Downside: it's heavy but it won't be lugged on 20 mile forced marches. I stupidly dropped the sight and gun combo 40 inches onto a concrete floor. Everything still works great.
Very pleased with the purchase.
Very pleased with the purchase.
Pros:
- clear glass, good dot, solid build, great FOV
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- Heavy duty budget red dot

Hit And Miss
The first one of these I bought I put on an AR45 pistol build and it has been perfect. Very bright dot, huge field of view and has stayed spot on for almost 1,000 rounds so far. Enter #2: I purchased a second one for a 300 blk pistol build and it arrived defective. The dot would only show up on settings 5 and 6 and was not very bright so I sent it back for replacement. I received #3 and was happy that it worked as well as #1 out of the box. But, it went blank on the 5th shot and that was it. Sent that one back for store credit. I really want to give this this sight 5 stars since #1 has been flawless, but I can't due to the very poor performance of #2 and #3.

Great for AR/Pistol Platform
Bought this for a Beretta ARX160 Pistol, the factory non-removable sights are a bit low for co-witnes. This big dot with big view has great lower 1/3 co-witness, looks great on the gun and works perfectly with or without the Beretta sights. Very happy with this dot, it's just what I needed for this gun.
Pros:
- Great field of view
- Well built & very functional
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- A/R Pistol

Bushnell TAC Optics
So I really love this unit. If you wear glasses the field of vision is important, and these have the best field of vision. I bought two more after I tested the first one. Controls are easy to operate and I just like that it’s larger.

Red dot sight
Clear function and sight picture. I have not used this due to a recent operation, but will soon. The biggest problem I have with this product is that it only mounts on Picatinny rails. Those rails are way to expensive and it makes the purchase questionable cash wise.
Pros:
- Nice sight picture
Cons:
- Only Picatinny mount available.
Best Used for:
- AR Platform
- AR platfrorm 15

Big D aka big disappointment
I bought the big sight because i am blind in my left eye and like the big view window, read tons of reviews, but the sight has the worst glare from bad lenses coating, if there is any sun/ interior light behind you it reflects off the front lenses inside and 90% of your vision has a red haze with the interior threads in the reflection. So on a sunny day the red dot blends in with the red super bright glare and is almost rendered useless, i wont bother with a refund as it was only $140 and im sure it would take weeks anyway, i will be buying a different scope possibly the sig romeo7 from optics planet. The $40 Ncstar 1x35 red dot is twice the sight as this "$350" bushnell sight for 140$! You have been warned.
Pros:
- Built tough,
- Big view window
Cons:
- HORRIBLE HORRIBLE lenses coating
- Bad red internal reflection from front lenses even with sight off
- Bad blue lenses tint
Best Used for:
- kids toys

Go Big...or, Go Home
This thing is BIG...and its tough, functionality sound. The adjustments knobs are high quality. The range of adjustments for the actually ref dot is phenomenal. It looks great & provides tbe widest field of view for faster target aquisition. If you want a great Ref Dot for a great price.. The BIG D is the Red Dot Opical for you
