I did a little research on this scope for my new .308 bolt action. I've never used a Bushnell, but it has "elite" in the name, so how bad can it be? well it is worth every penny. optically, its very clear with just a little bit of softness on the outermost edges. the 600 doa reticle is very easy to see till the last light. the "sizing marks" were a little tricky at first, but eventually i figured out a "mil spec" solution for them at specific distance. overall, they've proven useful. from the factory, it was just about spot on zeroed. a few clicks left, and a few clicks down, and it met perfect with my point of aim. first day out, I put together a couple 2.5" groups at 275 yards. the feel of the scope is of quality. I'm very impressed overall with the equipment. the zoom has a great feel, stiff enough to never move on its own, but silky smooth when you're dialing it in. I'm very happy with my purchase, and will definitely be looking into its big brother for my upcoming 338 lapua build.
