You must read the instructions well. Set the rear eye piece first, then the front lens. I added a Pulsar 920nm flashlight that mounted on top to aid in dark outdoor environments. The internal light only works inside a warehouse or roughly 30 ft away.
Pros: light weight, nice options, video port, mount
Cons: The internal IR illuminator is poor
