Honest Review
I teetered between giving this scope a 3 or 4 star but the overall build construction is top notch
Pros: A good zero stop, turrets that lock until pulled up, definite clicks, 30+ mils of internal travel, unquestionably rugged construction, common 34mm mounts available and a useable bottom end. This scope has already survived several hundred rounds with a 338LM and continues to track. The G2 reticle is step forward from the mil-hash (MLR, TMR) and mil-dots.
Cons: The image above 18x really suffers in comparison to other scopes offering a similar top end. This is likely due to the 6x range o...

Great glass
I have been very impressed with the clarity and light transmission. I really like the reticle and the ease of use and visualization. The first focal place reticle makes use at longer ranges very easy.

Phenomenal Scope for the money
I was able to purchase this on sale, and for the money I had paid for it this scope goes above and beyond what I was expecting. If only they could figure out a way to include illumination on this scope at the same price, then you would have a beast. Tracking on the scope was great, clarity was perfect and the reticle is easy to understand.

Excellent Scope
The Bushnell scope optics are better than expected. I had never considered buying a Bushnell scope until purchasing Legend binoculars for my son. The optical clarity in the binoculars was so impressive I began to research their scopes and decided to try the ERS.
Here's what I like about the scope:
1. Optics including low light transmission
2. Awesome G2 reticle, perfect mark thickness for a front focal plane (clear marks at 3.5 and doesn't obscure target at 21). Kudos to George Gardner and Bushnell for an excellent reticle design that includes windage hold-offs.
3. Tracking is great on this scope; not perfect but well within my shooting ability.
3. 29 mils of elevation adjustment, 10 mils per revolution (I have it mounted on a 20 MOA base for longer range shooting and zero at 200m)
4. Locking turrets, zero lock on the elevation
5. Some people have commented on the weight but I think it's on the light side for a 34mm tube scope
The only thing that I might wish for is a locking diopter adjustment. The diopter adjusts quickly so I'm not convinced that adding it would actually improve the scope. It may just make it more complicated and cluttered.
I primarily use the scope for hunting (out to 600m) and long range target shooting. The scope is mounted on a heavy barreled .308
Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised to say it's become my favorite scope. I've been hunting and shooting for 40+ years.

Very pleased with this scope
The scope is very good, I checked it by track testing and it tracked excellent, also checked the reticle at 100 yards it also tested perfectly. Shot rifle with the scope at a little over 500 yards, once again I was not disappointed. I have no problem recommending this scope.

Outstanding Optic
I have this mounted on a Remington 700 AAC-SD 308 WIN and the results I've had are nothing short of remarkable. The level of clarity is crystal clear and the adjustable zoom is rock solid. The 3.5x zoom is excellent for close range target acquisition and the 21x zoom can read the time off a watch at 300m. This sight has made my days to the range much more enjoyable
Pros:
- Solid build
- Excellent clarity
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- Bench rifle

long range
This is my third scope. We use these scopes on all of our precision tactical rifles. These scopes have held up to some of the harshest environments. We have had them on 10 below up to 110 degrees. They always perform flawlessly. Bushnell's entire line of elite tactical are top performers.
Pros:
- easy to read reticle
- 10 mil per turn
- zero stop
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes

Go, Bushnell!
Wanted FDE, couldn't bring myself to order it - went with black, glad I did. Home run for Bushnell - elevation and windage knobs feel nicely defined. Had not considered Bushnell for my AR-10, really a lot of scope for the money. Sharp and clear.
Pros: Compares to more expensive scopes
Cons: none

Bushnell Has Stepped Up Its Game!
Bushnell has really stepped up its game with the ERS 3.5-21x 50mm scope. The glass is outstanding. I was looking at a NightForce and SB and at the recommendation for a friend that told me to look hard at this Bushnell. I thought to myself that there was no way I was putting a Bushnell scope on my custom .308, until I actually put my hands on one and and got to play around. The G2 reticle is the way to go. The scope is very durable. I would not hesitate to get another one.
Pros: glass, zero stop, durable
Cons: non so far
