Most Helpful Positive Review Great Rangefinder for the money
I am a avid precision shooter and hunter. I bought this for the the differences it offered for shooting rifle out to 1300 (which I've accurately ranged out to 1567 yards) and having the function or correct angle for bow hunting. I can't be happier with it. I caught it on sale for $299 and had a coup...

Most Helpful Negative Review About average with room for improvement
Product is a good value all things considered. The maximum range for a non reflective target (such as deer) seemed to be rather optimistic. Seems to be ideally suited to ranging deer sized targets at under 300 yards. Beyond 300 yards/meters I found the holdover calculator to be next to useless. ...

DO NOT BUY

by Scottyy, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 3, 2018
I purchased this product is a multi use rangefinder. I took it out on the golf course for an early-morning round, and the range finder was unable to function anytime I was facing East from 645AM until about 1045AM when the sun was over head. Even though I was aiming directly at the greens the rangefinder failed to give me any measurement at all. I called the company to say that I clearly had a defective product or they have a major design flaw and they wanted to charge me $15 of return shipping plus shipping back to the manufacturer.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Does not work in bright sunlight.

So Far So Good

by Nate, from OH, United States Written on November 21, 2017
I bought this rangefinder with the anticipation of doing some long distance predator/varmint hunting. So far I have ranged anything past 550 yards, but I have been pleased with how this rangefinder has performed on everything up to that range. Time will tell how she does out at 700+ yards...will most likely be next Spring until I get out that far.
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • 6x magnification
Cons:
  • Can be somewhat difficult to understand the setup in regards to the different modes. The instructions are a must.

Awesome Product

by AR, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on August 21, 2017
I've been looking for a range finder that had a decent range on it, with some features within a manageable price range. What I found in this range finder by Bushnell was way more that I expected. Clear image, the quickness in which it acquires a target, water proof, and the ARC technology, being able to use for rifle and bow hunting...and so much more....makes it an awesome range finder, and I got it at a great price.
Pros:
  • durable
  • water proof
  • Angle Range Compensation
  • Vivid Display Technology
  • Rifle Mode, Bow Mode
  • Bullet Drop Measure for Rifle in MOA, MIL, INCHS, CM
  • RealTree color options
Cons:
  • so far none
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Training
  • Sniper
  • All weather conditions

Outstanding Rangefinder.

by Greg Noble, from CA, United States Written on May 31, 2017
I have never used a rangefinder before this one. After reading the manual , I had the G Force DX setup to what I will be using it for with no problems. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting an accurate and easy rangefinder to set up.

Nice upgrade from DX1000 ARC

by Volfy, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 16, 2016
My DX1000 ARC has been dependable and accurate, especially for airgun and rimfire hunting, where a few yard off at distance could mean a miss on a squirrel or mouse size target. However, it has trouble ranging game consistently beyond 275 yds, so I bought this DX1300 for longer range centerfire rifle shooting. It did not disappoint. Ranges well out past 500 yds and covers what I need for most hunting situations. The illuminated display is nice, particularly for low-light and/or busy backgrounds (e.g., thickets and tree branches), where black LCD display gets difficult to see against dark or high contrast background.

I use the range and incline data directly. ARC is too limiting. Plenty of mobile apps that can do the conversion to MOA or MILS for custom handloads. I wish Bushnell would implement their CONX on this rangefinder, so I can set up a custom profile on my phone and transfer data wirelessly. I understand they may want to reserve that feature for high$$$ ELite line, wireless connectivity is becoming so widespread in consumer electronics, it should almost be considered a "standard" feature.

Optics is on par with DX1000, which is excellent. Good contrast and focuses well with little edge distortion or purple fringing. Hopefully battery life is as good as my DX1000, which is still on the original battery.
Pros:
  • Ease of use
  • small size
  • Fast acquisition
  • Great range
Cons:
  • ARC too limiting
  • no wireless connectivity

A great addition to range bag.

by Bob I., Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on September 7, 2016
Easy to use. Quick acquisition of target and distance. Multi function mode allows users to quickly adapt from brush to open field. The only negative is that in bright light, it is difficult to see the digital display. Conversely, it's great in low light conditions.

Great range finder

by Shooter, from TX, United States Written on January 1, 2016
Another great product from optics planet I ordered the Bushnell G force 1300 ARC to replace my older Leica unit which still works the bushy has a lot more modern features that suit me better the button is easier to push which allows me to stay on target when ranging. I rifle hunt and bow hunt so the bushy has both modes which better suit my needs, have ranged a building at 966 yds so far which is further than my Leica ever ranged. So far so good haven't really beat it up yet will post back here after I've put it thru my torched test.
Pros:
  • Lightwieght
  • soft button to push
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting/Target

Great Rangefinder

by AgEng08, from TX, United States Written on July 7, 2015
Great Rangefinder with great features. The variable sight in distance is a really nice feature. I wish the Rifle mode arc function would work out to 1000 yd, but it doesn't provide an adjustment for that range. Should be perfect for bow and rifle hunting.
Pros:
  • Range
Cons:
  • arc limitations
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Target shooting

Bushnell 6x21 G Force DX 1300 ARC Rangefinder

by theodore, from South Austrlia, Australia Written on October 17, 2014
This is a great range finder. it is easy to use with a clear image and very compact making it easy to handle in the field. Loads of useful features including elevation or angle of shot along with true horizontal distance to target and an ability to change distance measure from yards to meters to match your rifle scopes settings make this a must have item for all those long shots.
Pros:
  • compact
  • Easy to use and set
  • great features
  • exellent price
Cons:
  • the display can become a little difficult to see in very low light conditions
