Nate's Review of Bushnell Legend T-Series 15-45x60mm Spotting Scope

I dare you to find a overall better spotter for this price. I did have a lower price in December 2017 when I bought mine, but it preforms very well...with one exception. After 3+ years of use the objective focus ring stopped working as it was intended to work. I can get it to focus, but the part that you grip to turn , has come unattached to the spotter itself. This means I must squeeze firmly in order to adjust the focus. I would love to send it in to have it repaired but I believe it's beyond it's warranty, and don't want to pay to fix that. I give it 4 stars because of this. Besides that...I LOVE IT!! very clear glass at varying distances, gets a bit fuzzy out around 800-100meters, but still able to see/read trace plenty well enough to spot rounds. The reticle is just a bonus for milling targets or for helping make shooter corrections. I would certainly buy this again, in fact, we bought some of these for work. Compare these to Leopold Golden Ring HD and you'll be surprised of how similar they are in quality, and for HALF the price! Don't think about it, just buy it, great glass for the price!
Pros:
  • Mounts easily
  • Clear glass & Reticle
  • Protective coating and cover
  • can be used with Badger Ordance Rail Mount
  • Works with Badger Ordnance Aluminum Sniper Lightweight Integrator Combat Kit
  • Good quality magnification
Cons:
  • focus ring durability
Best Used for:
  • Spotting at most distances
  • Mounted on Tripod
