The glass is clear from edge to edge. The reticle is adequate for calling corrections. The contrast is also very nice. It is well balanced. This is not a Hensoldt but it is also not $2500. For the price it is a great product and will perform nicely for 99% of all ELR shooting. Seems pretty rugged but haven't had the chance to put it through that kind of testing yet. Again for the price I think you will not be disappointed
